New on Shopfront

Welcome to what’s new on Shopfront for September & October 2026. These two months bring a new visual ticket builder, a smoother ticket queue, plus a long list of improvements and fixes.
Note: Some of these changes are gradually rolling out to stores, some of these changes may not be received in your store for a couple of weeks.

We’ve made designing your own shelf tickets a lot easier. The new visual, no-code template builder lets you drag and drop elements onto a canvas, instead of writing CSS and HTML by hand. It’s built into the ticket template editor, with an Advanced tab still there if you want full control.
Build tickets visually — a canvas, a palette of fields and a properties panel to lay out your ticket exactly how you want it
Function elements — add calculated elements with typed inputs, so tickets can show more than just raw product fields
QR codes — convert a barcode on your ticket to a QR code
We’ve been hard at work improving the new ticketing experience in Shopfront. It’s now easier to get up and running with new tickets and we’ve added several usability improvements for working with the queue.
What’s new:
Guided first-run setup — if the queue needs setting up, we now walk you through it instead of leaving you at a dead end
Paper size presets — pick your sheet size from a list of presets instead of working out CSS margins
Choose where printing starts — pick which spot on the sheet your tickets start from, handy for partially used sheets
Assign to outlets — attach templates and layouts to specific outlets
Thumbnails — see a preview of every template and layout on the list screens
