New On Shopfront
New on Shopfront: January & February 2026
Nick Clark
Welcome to what’s new on Shopfront for January & February 2026. We’ve been busy moving old pages to our new UI and making Shopfront leaner!
Note: Some of these changes are gradually rolling out to stores, some of the changes may not be received in your store for a couple of weeks.
Minor Features

- Improved searching of select menus to allow for partial unordered text matches,
- Redesigned the stocktake index page to match Shopfront’s new styling and made external stocktakes accessible from this page,
- Redesigned the classification index page to match Shopfront’s new styling,
- Redesigned the product’s index page to match Shopfront’s new styling,

- Receiving basket products on an order now updates the cost of inner items,
- Added a toggle when creating a user to allow reporting access to all Outlets or none,
- Prevented deletion of sale keys when used as a key on another set of sale keys,
- Adjusted the maximum amount an account customer can owe,

products query now allows filtering by the product’s last update time,

Bug Fixes
- There is no longer any blank space when scrolling through the inventory log with a product that has a case quantity of one,
- Scanning a barcode relating to a not-purchasing or inactive product in the order edit screen will now ask if you want to add that item instead of showing the item not matching screen,
- Both show active and show inactive filters on the promotion index page now use the same algorithm to show results
- Gift cards can no longer be sold for less than the rounding amount for the current currency,
- Having a huge number of parked sales no longer causes the rate limiter to be hit when performing a force synchronisation,
- Prevented the sale key edit page from crashing when selecting the colour picker for a key that doesn’t currently have a colour,
- Using the case quantity sale key and then selecting an existing product’s quantity now converts that item to / from a case (matching the rest of the row)
